Silver Bow Kiwanis Kiwanis Board Meeting, Oct 7, '10

This was the first meeting of the 2010-2011 board.

Our holiday raffle is coming up. Roger is getting tickets ready and talking to vendors.

We discussed both expanding the BUG program and possibly starting Kiwanis Kids (aka K-Kids) clubs at some of the elementary schools. We will want to coordinate with Sunrise Kiwanis on this since they are involved in BUG at some schools already. Betsy, Darla, and Doreena are getting together.

Darla asked for us to consider some form of support for the Butte History Club, either in service or money. She will ask their faculty adviser to speak again at a meeting.

We discussed Public Service Announcements and Community Calendars, and how to get our club out into the public eye more.

Keith and K-Family Ambassador Tyler are having a brainstorming session on interclub ideas to bring members of the several Kiwanis organizations (Key clubs, Builders clubs, Aktion clubs, etc) together in the area.
