Silver Bow Kiwanis Kiwanis Club Meeting, May 3, '11

Shawn reminded us all that the Bike Rodeo is coming up on May 21. Fliers are printed, pizzas are ordered, and Merle and Shawn are working out helmets... Volunteers should arrive around 9, and we'll start taking kids through the course at 10.
Lee announced that the Montana Tech Circle K came to the library to help assemble furniture this past Saturday, so the library now has ADA compliant furniture.

Doreena was absent today, so Gene led the meeting. He introduced Mark Reavis of BUST, the Butte Urban Safari Tours. The Butte Safari is the only service offering of its kind, as far as Mark could find. Their tours are all customized based on the desires of those individuals on the tours.

BUST is licensed by the Public Service Commission as a Class B service, which puts them in with taxis, limo services, garbage trucks, and other tour services.

They're open seven days a week and offer tours during the summer at 10, 12:30, and 3. The 12:30 tour is the lunch gossip tour. Starting in October, they will cut back to offering tours by appointment until the weather clears again in the spring. They do have people on tours in their open air transports year 'round - this past New Year's Day they took a tour around (with blankets, of course), at 20 below zero...
