Silver Bow Kiwanis Kiwanis Club Meeting, Dec 13, '11

Roger introduced his wife Marcia who was here to sell coupon books to support the Sunrise Kiwanis club here in Butte, and to thank us for our support of the CCCS children's Christmas with the East Middle School Builder's Club.

Adriana from the Circle K was here again, and let us know that they are finishing tallying still, but so far they are around $1,500 raised for their Holiday Cares project.

Shawn announced our special meal next week and reminded us to RSVP for next week.

Roger brought out the tickets, each individually enclosed in black film canisters and placed in a black plastic bag. After much stirring, turning, rolling, and mixing, Adriana from the Circle K drew a canister. Upon opening the canister, Roger revealed that the winning ticket was Herb Kelsey of Deer Lodge.

Then Tim introduced our guest, Andy Larson with the After School Music Program. Andy led us in some Christmas carols and told us about the youth music show coming up this Monday at 7 at the Mother Lode Theater. This show is an opportunity for many young musicians to perform - sometimes for the first time. People who attend this show regularly have the opportunity to see these young musicians learn and develop.
