Roger announced the birth of his new twin grandchildren: Oliver and Elsa. He also announced that the men's team Silver Bow Kiwanis sponsored for Lighten Your Load took second place, so we are receiving $450 which we expect to donate to EliMiNaTe - and the women's team owes the men's team a steak dinner.

Adrianna announced that the Circle K is having their installation dinner the Thursday, March 29 at Perkins at 6pm.

And Doreena, at Ken's urging, coerced DJ to announce that he is running for Montana Senate for district 37.

Doreena introduced Don Raley, candidate for Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff and handed out information sheets Don had prepared for us.

Don is retired from the Maryland Department of Corrections, and was a Deputy Sheriff in Richter, Virginia and a police chief in Paw Paw, West Virginia. Don served in the U.S. Army, and has coached youth football and basketball.

While working in the Maryland Department of Corrections he had the opportunity to learn how the drug trade works and really understand the impact it has on all other crimes in an area. He believes that addressing drug problems will address other crime issues.

Don also believes that providing positive role models for youth as well as getting more youth involved in organized athletics will give youth more positive outlets.

Don has lived in Silver Bow county for two years, and raises horses out on Brown's Gulch. He moved here after retiring because he found he really liked the area on previous trips.
