We had Matt, Michaela, and Adriana from the Circle K, as well as Hannah, Riane, Kathryn, Shalleen, and Shailyn from the Key Club here. Also, Trina's guest and tentative new member, Brandy from the Hampton was in attendance.

Mark announced that there is a Preparedness seminar at UM Western in Dillon on April 6 & 7 put on by the Red Cross, and April 20 is the March for Babies by the March of Dimes at the Chamber Visitor's Information Center. Betsy let us know about the Key Leader camp this fall, and encouraged people to get kids registered before May 31 so Key Leader has their email addresses to keep in touch over the summer. Also, today is the Builder's Club egg dying at Marquis Vintage Suites.

Then Mark introduced Shaleen, the outgoing Key Club President who introduced the other Key Club members with her and they each showed us the awards they received at their convention.

Then Cathy introduced Sister Mary Jo McDonald, our speaker. Sister Mary Jo graduated from St. Mary's College, and has since gotten two post-secondary degrees.

She spoke to us about the Easter season and Holy Week, and how people need to focus on something positive. She spoke about how this is a season of change, and that the Easter story from the Bible is really the story of change in the teachings of Christ from following Jewish doctrine and practices, to bringing in something new. She also illustrated how the several different Church seasons through the year can help to disrupt our busy and constant lives so we can take a look at how we can change ourselves, our routines, or our community for the better. She said that the most important gift we have is the gift to make our own choices.
