We had a shirt drawing again today, and Kristi was the winner.

We also have the Key Club installation coming up May 2 at noon at Central High and the Circle K installation dinner coming up April 25 at 5pm at Metals Bank, which will include dinner. Please let them know if you are planning to attend.

Roger talked to us about the Montana Membership Tour, coming to Butte on May 1. There are three sessions, 8:30-11, 1-5, and 6-9. Please let Roger know which you plan to attend. These meetings will help with club building and membership draw. Silver Bow Kiwanis is sponsoring all three sessions and will have an EliMiNaTe donation jar in the room for people to donate.

Mark turned the meeting over to Michaela, who talked to us about Circle K. The motto of the Montana Tech Circle K Club is "college students with a lifelong commitment to service worldwide." Their incoming club officers this year are Matt, Michaela, and Paul Parsons. Matt, Michaela, and Adriana (who was president of the club for the last two years) are three of the Montana District officers.

The Montana District offers two main training events, the Fall Leadership Training shortly after school starts, and the District Convention held in March.

The Circle K at Tech participates in Montana Tech Homecoming, the MS Walk, the Science Fair, the United Way Day of the Child, Dumpster Days, their bake sale, the Holiday Care raffle, and the Christmas Stroll. They also try to help with whatever other projects are brought to them by the school or other service organizations in the community.

The Circle K meets weekly during the school year. This semester's meetings are at 5:15 Thursday evenings in the Pintler room in the SUB on the Montana Tech campus. Everyone is welcome.

They then asked our own auctioneer extraordinaire, Roger, to auction off their twelve plates of baked goods, including one plate of Micheala's famous Texas Brownies which took second place in last fall's Homecoming week cooking contest. The Circle K raised $200 from our club for their baked goods.
