Silver Bow Kiwanis Kiwanis Club Meeting, Jun 18, '13

Today Keith went through the list of new member certificates, handing out a couple to very new members, and a couple to some older members who haven't been present when the certificate list was recently read.

Time talked about the Schwanz fund raiser. Schwanz will provide a percentage of their proceeds from a day of sales to a designated charity - up to 20%. We could use this to help meet our EliMiNaTe goal, or for other purposes in the future. We would need to promote the fund raiser, then we can do pre-sales to count toward those sales, as well as promote the sale date. People suggested setting up in the mall parking lot, at First Citizen's Bank, or at the Farmer's Market.

Last week a motion was made to elect Jess to replace Doreena on the board for the remainder of her term. This week the motion was presented again, and the membership present nearly unanimously passed it. Welcome to the board, Jess.

Following that, Tim reminded us that there are three director positions open, as well as the position of president elect (sometimes called second vice president). People interested should contact Tim, Cathy, or Mark.
