This week we were joined by David and Reno from the Circle K, as well as Mark Reavis from Community Preservation Design.

Cathy let us know about the Key Club installation at 11:55 at Butte Central High in the library on Thursday and reminded us of the Board Meeting at 5:445 Thursday evening at Metals, followed by the Circle K installation at 7 at Metals. Everyone is invited to each of those events.

Keith let us know that the Builder's Club is meeting Wednesday at 12:30 in Miss Tutty's room at Central Middle school. Next week the Builder's Club is dying Easter Eggs with the residents at the Marquis Vintage Suites at 1. We should have some Kiwanians there for support and assistance.

Cathy also let us know that new member Eddie Zimpel is running for school board. We should all remember to vote in the school election May 6.

Our Montana District Midwinter Conference was this past weekend at Fairmont Hot Springs. We had 11 members of our club at the Interclub Awards Banquet on Saturday. Silver Bow Kiwanis was recognized for Builder's Club Outreach, Key Club Outreach, Circle K Outreach, Key Leader support, the Montana Youth Fund, and the Montana District Birthday Fund.

Cathy also recognized Paul Tash, Lee Miller, Sunvee Rosenleaf, Shawn Ori, Ed Stergar, Betsy Pahut, and Jeremy Fleege for their assistance in getting speakers to talk to our club.

For the next few weeks there will be lottery tickets at our meetings. If you bring a guest, you and your guest will get a lottery ticket. You could win big!

Remember, if you have ideas for board members, or if you want to be on the board so you can take part in making decisions for how the Club operates, please let Shawn or Cathy know. Also, Cathy has asked members to let Keith know your spouse's name, or the name of the person who supports you.

Dave gave us an update on the EliMiNaTe project. With the IDD project, the Montana District was in the top 1/3 of donors; with the EliMiNaTe project, the Montana District is in the bottom third. Dave Curry and Ed Mangis are working to change this. The first project they are working on is the "100 Who Care." This is an effort to get 100 Montana Kiwanians to step up for a Zealor award - $1,250 in donation to the EliMiNaTe project over two years. We already have 8 from Silver Bow Kiwanis: Cathy Tutty, Betsy Pahut, Kristi Scott, Paul Vang, Lee Miller, Mark O'Neill, Jess McGee, Tim Rogers, and Shawn Ori. Congratulations!
