Today we were joined by David, Matt, Randy, and Reno from the Circle K and Abigail, RuthAnne's daughter.

The past two Saturdays the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Butte had their Bowl for Kids' Sake fundraiser. On the 1st Jess bowled and this last Saturday Reno, Jeremy, and Cathy bowled. Reno and Jeremy both won special participation prizes.

The PR and 100th Anniversary committee reports that they are working on a gala for April. Sandy from the Sunrise club is assisting them, and they are looking for representatives from Butte Kiwanis and from Anaconda Kiwanis. We are trying for an interclub to Butte tomorrow and to Anaconda next Thursday. Let Dave know if you are planning to attend either of these.

The Service Leadership Program committee reports that the Circle K is moving on with their raffle ticket sales for their Holiday Care Raffle. David and Reno have done an excellent job of collecting prize donations. They are also heading up a Can-Struction project on campus for the Food Bank. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF raised $395.35 and had participation from all the youth SLP organizations in Butte.

The Major Projects committee reports that they are working with Ingraham to get information about the existing playground equipment on the Greeley property and how to refurbish that. Cathy met with Jay Ellington with BSB Parks and is getting a priority list for parts or playgrounds that need equipment or rehabilitation. And Sunvee was contacted about fundraising for playground equipment for Rocker. Currently we are only in information gathering stages.

The Membership committee reports that anyone who brings a guest next week will receive a Lottery scratch ticket - so bring a guest and invite them to join and see what else you could win.

The Programming and Meeting committee did not have a report, though Gene announced that Sheriff Lester would like an opportunity to speak to our group.

The Fundraising committee reported that we sold 72.5% of the tickets offered (that's 145 tickets out of 200). We had Verna draw the winning tickets from the tumbler graciously donated by Brendan McDonnough graciously lent the club. Third place ($500) was drawn first, and the name was Pam Codi, ticket 169 sold by Cathy Tutty. Second place ($1,500) was drawn next, and it was to Kim Steele, ticket 5 also sold by Cathy Tutty. Finally we drew the grand prize ($3,000) winner, and the name was Kristi Scott, ticket 105 sold by Kristi Scott. Congratulations to our three winners!

Finally the Service Projects committee had no upcoming report, but hopes to hear from the food bank and from the SLP committee on projects very soon. 3,200 children were served at Treat Street on Halloween, and 300 kids went through the Legion Oasis haunted house.
