The Builders' Club is having their holiday bake sale this Friday, December 11, to raise money to give to the Catholic Parishes in Butte to help those in need this season. We need baked goods delivered to Central Middle School by Thursday and we need someone to help sell on Friday from about 9 to about 11:30.

Key Club is meeting on Thursday at 11:56 at the.

Tonight Headframe Spirits is having a Drink Like You Mean It fundraiser to help the Butte Library Foundation.

Paul then introduced Mark Hayden, Executive Director of the Butte Symphony.

The Butte Symphony has their holiday concert coming up on Saturday, December 12 at 7:30.

The Butte Symphony has a 50 member orchestra, and for this weekend's concert they will be joined by the Butte High Choir and the Anaconda Choir. Mark had with him an opportunity for members in attendance to get buy-one, get-one tickets that would be ready at will-call. Several members took advantage of this offer.

Tickets are normally $40 to the main floor, $35 for the mezzanine, and $30 for the balcony for Butte Symphony concerts.

At 66 years, the Butte Symphony is the oldest in the state, but the Butte Symphony has a disproportionate percentage of young players. 30% of the performers are just out of college or younger. They have performers from Montana Tech, Butte High, and Central High.

Coming up the Butte Symphony has their Greatest Hits concert on February 20, and the afternoon before that they have their annual children's concert where students from schools in southwest Montana are bused to Butte to see the symphony. On April 30 the Symphony rounds out their season with a classical concert.
