Roger announced that the Sunrise Kiwanis club is having a fundraiser on April 2 at 7:30pm. The "Singing Sons of Beaches" will be performing in a Chuckles for Charity event. Tickets are $15 for general admission or $160 for a table for 8 on the floor ($20 per seat at a table). tickets are available at Sylvan Learning Center or Threadwriters. This doesn't start until 7:30pm, so you have plenty of time to help put together backpacks for Safe Space that afternoon.

Lee announced that the Public Library will be open to the public starting April 1 from 11-6, and that evening from 6-9pm they will be having a reception catered by the Uptown Cafe. The Butte Miner, 100 years ago, had a commentary from the then director of the library that the library needed a presence out on the flats to better serve the community, so please let your council member know that you support the new South Branch of the library as well.

Paul let us know that this Friday there is an Irish Piper performing at Tech. Tickets are $18.

Our planned speaker was unable to attend today. He is rescheduling with Tim for another date. However, Keith had picked up some information on the Montana Meth Project from his visit with Anaconda Kiwanis last Thursday. Adam played part of a video presentation from the Montana Meth Project, and several members discussed encounters they had had with meth abusers. Tim also presented some of the facts from the Montana Meth Project's literature.

We hope to have someone from the Montana Meth Project come to speak to our club in the future for more information on their efforts and successes.
